REDE is a multidisciplinary research group at the Universidade de Vigo and set up in 2004 from three groups that, until then, were active separately: one group belonging to the scientific field of Economic Analysis Fundamentals, another in Applied Economics and a third in Company Organization and Marketing. In 2006, REDE was the first team in the legal-social field to be awarded one of the funds for Reference Groups in the Galician Research System.
Our priority lines of research lie in the field of innovation, energy and the environment, having published over a hundred articles in some of the leading entrepreneurial economic and strategy analysis journals: Cambridge Journal of Economics, Climate Policy, Computers and Operations Research, Economic Modelling, Economic Theory, Energy Journal, Energy Policy, Environmental Economics and Policy Studies, Harvard Business Review, IEEE Transactions on Engineering Management, Industrial and Corporate Change, Industrial Marketing Management, International Journal of Operations and Production Management, Journal of Environmental Policy and Planning, Long Range Planning, Management and Organization Review, Natural Resource Modelling, Organization Science, Organization Studies, Public Choice, Research Policy, Review of Economic Dinamics, Supply Chain Management International Journal, Technology Analysis and Strategic Management.
These works have furthered our collaboration in numerous projects, both with the Spanish and Galician public administrations (Ministry of Industry, Ministry of the Environment, Ministry of Education and Science, Institute of Fiscal Studies, Regional Council of Economy, Regional Council of Industry, Regional Council of the Environment), besides the European Commission (7th Framework Programme, Horizon 2020, Interreg, Life …) and various international organizations (OCED, Interamerican Development Bank). Likewise, in the field of knowledge transfer, we frequently cooperate with technological centres, companies and associations in different sectors and sizes (Alcoa, Altran, ANFACO-CECOPESCA, APM Management Tools, Atlantic, CTAG, CETMAR, Gas Natural, Grupo Calvo, Gradiant, Iberdrola, Inova Consult, Jealsa Rianxeira, Kaizen Institute, Pescanova, PSA Peugeot Citroën, Repsol, Syngenta).
